SoftLayer launches Sandy Bridge server

The 1200 series is part of Intel’s next-generation Sandy Bridge processor family, delivering rich new features ideal for powering cloud applications, virtualized computing, content streaming, and more.

The Sandy Bridge microarchitecture is a significant advance in processor integration and manufacturing.
